Letter by Miles Guo re: Government Witness and Exhibit Lists / (中文) Doc 378-1 Exhibit A – Spreadsheet
摘要
Defense Letter · Government Witness and Exhibit Lists
This three-page filing, dated June 14, 2024 from Sidhardha Kamaraju of Pryor Cashman LLP, addresses witness-order and exhibit-disclosure timing in connection with the trial of United States v. Guo et al., 1:23-cr-00118 (AT). Exhibit A (case-doc-378-1) is a spreadsheet.
Procedural Context
The Court had directed that trial during the following week would be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. — extended hours that allow the government additional time to catch up to its previous trial estimate. The defense does not contest that decision.
Defense Request
The defense asks the Court to direct the government to supply the defense with:
- Information about the government's anticipated witness order;
- The exhibits to be used with each witness;
- All of the above with sufficient time to allow the defense to prepare efficient cross-examinations.
In pre-trial filings, the defense had previously asked the Court to order such advance disclosure. The current letter renews the request now that the extended-hours trial schedule has been set.
