Under the Court's order of April 3, 2025, a nonparty has only two routes in this case: a third-party petition under § 853(n), or a motion under the Crime Victims' Rights Act (Dkt. 528). Remission is a third route, and one that does not run through the court — under 21 U.S.C. § 853(i) the authority to direct remission or mitigation of forfeited funds rests entirely with the Attorney General, which is why the Government's status letter of April 21, 2025 explained that the over 500 remission petitions it had received directly need not be sent to the Court (Dkt. 694).
